Garlic-Yogurt Dressing Salad (Salatka z Sosem Jogurtowo-Czosnkowym)

How to make delicious and healthy food

within minutes

We just had an unexpected turn out of the events and ended up
having a late dinner at our place.
I wanted to make something special yet using products that I currently had in my fridge.

I decided to make a salad with garlic yogurt dressing.
I like to use the above dressing not only with salads,
but also with warm naans, roasted vegetables, even pizza - the list is endless.
I make slight changes to the dressing every time  -
it can be thinner, thicker, more aromatic, spiced, etc.

It is up to you!

Broccoli salad with garlic yogurt dressing:
2 broccoli crowns
1 large tomato
4 hard boiled eggs

* ingredients may vary

Garlic Yogurt Dressing:
3/4 cup of Greek yogurt ( I use non-fat Chobani)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
Salt
Pepper
Dry Basil
Water (optional)
*sometimes I add a little bit of water to thin down the yogurt
* I use a whisk to mix all the ingredients together

Boil water with a pinch of salt. Put the little pieces of washed broccoli in the pot when the water is boiling
(it will preserve the beautiful green color of the vegetable).
Let the broccoli be al dente (slightly hard).
 Hard boil eggs.
Cut the tomato (I take off the skin).
Start assembling your vegetables in a serving dish. Make the dressing.
Start pouring the dressing on the vegetables.
Sprinkle with more salt, pepper and basil right before serving.

 HEALTH FACTS:

It is a low calorie and a very healthy dish.
It contains no fat, provides you with proteins and vitamin B (eggs),
vitamin A, C, K and antioxidants (tomato and broccoli).
Additionally, Greek yogurt provides you not only with calcium and proteins,
but also with healthy bacterial cultures
 - they are great for your immune and digestive system.
Garlic is widely known as a "natural antibiotic" due to its antibacterial qualities.
Nothing but the good!

Enjoy!
